The recruiter round started off well. I was told the first technical round would focus on Python and SQL, and the expectations seemed clear. However, during the interview, the interviewer unexpectedly began testing me on PySpark, which was never communicated in advance. That lack of alignment made the experience frustrating and felt unprofessional. Before the interview, I was sent an NDA and a link to company resources stating that Socure would respond within 72 hours after interviews. That never happened. I followed up with the recruiter multiple times and received no response at all. I was effectively ghosted. Overall, the process lacked transparency and follow-through. It's disappointing to see a company talk about strong candidate communication but not live up to it. I wouldn’t recommend investing your time here unless they improve their candidate experience.

1 round - Had a HR round. He was a cool guy and usually responds in 1-2 days. 2 round - Asked 2 sql questions and 1 python question. Medium level both. 3 round - The interviewer was so bad (Brooklyn, NY based) and looks like he did not had any technical knowledge. He began my interview by asking me if we should continue doing interview and am I sure of this job? Excuse me! Why the hell did you called me for an interview then? Yes, I am interested you dumb! (Not anymore and probably never will apply here as I read someone comment below - "It's a sinking ship" Haha love it!) I also researched a bit about the company later, they are doing nothing special and fooling everyone by telling we have the lowest False Positive Rate and high recall! This every beginner data scientist would do and their solutions are not out of the box. I am glad he rejected me! He asked me to walk through one of the project which I did extremely well and did not leave a single chance of doubt in his mind. In fact, he himself was struggling to ask me questions and as expected he asked me dumb question - "Have you used any visualization tools?" I said yes you dumb I am a data scientist I breathe data 24x7. Anyway to all my brothers and sisters who are probably reading this as you might have interview coming up with this company. My suggestion is "DO NOT KEEP ANY EXPECTATIONS, JUST GO WITH THE FLOW" Keep applying for other companies!

First call was with HR on basic introduction followed by a tech screen on SQL and Python. Did not clear the tech screen but the questions were kinda easy to solve. The problem was that the interviewer did not help at ALL! He just sat there doing nothing!
