I had an acquaintance reach out about openings and SmithGroupJJR seeking project architects and project managers. I submitted my materials via email and scheduled an interview on a Friday afternoon. I toured the office and attended the interview with my acquaintance and another manager. In retrospect, I didn't prepare sufficiently to describe what I wanted out of my next role, which made for a less fruitful discuss.
