Had an initial telephone interview that went well enough to warrant an in-person interview. I had all the qualifications they were looking for and an in person meeting was to follow. I was interviewed by a wall of people. They seemed very nice but very overworked and a bit too casually dressed to be meeting a prospective employee. I was a bit leery of the company because there is no Human Resources department. I find this to be incredibly irresponsible for a growing company, especially with workplace issues and harassment. It would only behoove SmartSign to have one. I followed up a few weeks later on my candidacy only to receive a bizarre convoluted telephone message with no return phone number. I was BAFFLED. Two hours later I received an email from another employee telling me that they would respond in a few days and let me know what the status of my candidacy was. All I heard were echoes.... No follow up. Many red flags!
