Senior recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn & introduced me to another recruiter to get scheduled for interviews. Did the screening interview with the recruiter & moved to the hiring manager. The hiring manager concluded our interview with statements that he looked forward to further discussions with me and said “we should keep talking”. Then 2 days later, I received a rejection email from the recruiter. I questioned what changed and was told they had a lot of candidates and I wouldn’t be moving to the next interview. Very odd experience.
