Had 3 video interviews. The first where I presented a case study, the second where I spoke to the department director and the third with the CS vice president. All asked good questions: challenging and probing. It was a little disconcerting to interview only by video, but there position is in a new office.

I found Smartsheet's interview process to be extremely unprofessional and insulting. After applying for the SC Position on the company website, I received an email from a Smartsheet recruiter wanting to set up a phone screen. I replied the same day letting the recruiter know that I had selected the following Thursday on her online calendar for us to connect. When the day of the interview came around, I received an email from the recruiter, 15 minutes before our scheduled start time, stating that her "laptop shut down" and we would have to reschedule and to let her know my availability for the following week. I provided my availability for the following week within 15 minutes of receiving her email and she just never got back to me. I followed up on Monday, and then again on the following Monday and still nothing. I spent hours prepping, all to never even get the chance to interview. If the position is not hiring anymore or I am no longer being considered, at least have the decency to communicate that.
