I recently interviewed at Smart & Final and wanted to share my experience. The process was super straightforward and easy. They only asked a few basic questions, mainly just “When can you work?” which shows that they’re more focused on availability than anything else.
What stood out to me the most was how flexible they are with scheduling. Whether you're looking for part-time or something more consistent, they seem very willing to work around your availability, which is great if you're a student or have other commitments.
Overall, I’d say it was one of the easiest interviews I’ve had. Definitely not stressful, and it seems like they’re just looking for reliable people who are ready to show up and work.
