Interviewed with CEO, VP, and COO. VP had something to say about his kitchen remodel process at his vacation home. The entire time the COO & CEO would call you in and then disappear for a few weeks only to call you back for an interview later. They also seemed very money conscious.

First phone interview was very informal and asked the standard background questions. Without any carpentry experience, I was told that they needed APMs with carpentry experience so they could do double duty and I would not be a good fit for their current need. Was later told to keep in touch as they will have future openings that I would be a good fit for and would have more time to train on things such as carpentry. Fast forward to when I was instructed to reach back out. The APM job is still posted and I reached back out to the hiring manager to convey my interest again. This time I was told my experience and skill set aren’t a good fit. Have a backbone and say it the first time around rather than stringing candidates around.
