The interview started with a quick screening with the recruiter. No skills interview here, just an initial screen to ensure mutual interest and matching skillset and experience. Once the target role was defined, the process continued with a first round of onsite interviews with two peers. The first was a situational-type interview that followed a process, so they had specific questions (i.e. "give me a situation where you did X" or "describe a situation were you solved for Y") which had to be answered with specific responses; the interviewer did a great job of keeping me on target. The second one was more free form and the interviewer did most of the talking, making sure I understood what the position entailed. All in all, an enjoyable experience. The second round of onsite interviews was with the area supervisors for the role I was applying to and was a mix of situational / free-form interview. Once more, this was an enjoyable experience. Since I already had a job offer on the table with another company, Slalom really did an effort to accommodate me and fast tracked my interview process. The entire process from interviews to final decision took about a week. I was impressed, to say the least.
