      Entrevista

      The recruiting experience was fast and quick. It started with a phone call and the 1st round interview was set up two days later via Teams. Then, I had my second and final round interview a week later via Teams and got the offer a day later via phone call from the recruiter. I had a pleasant time talking with everyone at the company and felt like we were all on the same page until the offer came. You will notice that with each job posting publicly posted on their website and elsewhere, a salary range is given. When I applied for the job, I was comfortable with the posted salary range. However, it seems what they had in mind internally contradicted the salary range that was posted. They gave me an hourly rate over the phone which aligned with the lowest point on the publicly listed range. I countered to the mid-point of the range because I was in a similar role with the same title previously at another healthcare organization and have experience, but I did not ask for the top of the range due to a realistic awareness and understanding of my experience up to this point. I don't deserve the top, but I most certainly don't deserve the bottom. There is a $8.00 difference between the lowest dollar amount and highest dollar amount they presumed to pay for the position according to the job posting. The recruiter replied that they had to give me X per hour to stay true to internal equity. When I mentioned the salary range posted for the position, the recruiter claimed that the salary range posted was for a range of different roles and not the specific range for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator position. When I expressed my confusion, the recruiter then said that the bottom pay for the TA Coordinator role is $2.00 less then what they offered me on the phone. Problem is, this bottom number expressed to me via phone call was NOT anywhere on the public posting. The recruiter said they would reach out to me if they could do anything about the pay, and given that I have not heard back, it seems they are firm on their number. That's okay, but please don't waste candidates time by posting a range for all candidates to see in association with this specific position and then tell candidates that you are not going by this range when making offers. I know the job market is tough, but I am not going to disrespect myself by taking a role with a company playing these types of games. If you treat me like this as a candidate, I can only imagine what it's alike once you are an employee of the organization.
