Felt like being played by the company - informed by HR that they decided to offer the position to an internal candidate who never applied for the role. To add salt to wound, the hiring manager initial decision was to offer me the position until they suddenly met this colleague and decided to offer the role to that colleague instead - at this point in time, that colleague was not informed that s/he will be offered the position . 2 weeks later, an ad for the exact same role was posted again.
