Initial recruiting screening well well and she invited me to the next round while still on the call. I thought the next call with the hiring manager went well and on that call she also said she would put me through to the next round which would be with an APAC colleague and that I'd be hearing from their hiring team soon. I waited almost 10 days and heard nothing so I reached out and got an OOO message from the original recruiter I spoke with saying she no longer worked there. After multiple attempts at reaching out to people in the company I was only then told they would not be progressing with my candidacy, after I had already been told otherwise from the hiring manager. What a disappointing and unprofessional hiring process to be falsely lead on and then only notified of otherwise after I had to reach out to them.
