I applied online at the Sherwin Williams career page at the end of November. I received a call from the store manager a week later for an interview and a walk-around the store. The Interview was extremely interactive, the manager only ask me a couple of question. The rest of the time, he was educating me on the different products that the store carry and introducing me to his staff. You will get introduction to a lot of the products the first day which was overwhelming especially if you are not familiar with a lot of the terminology. After the interview, I receive an offer via email for the job. Be prepared to fill out a bunch of paperwork at that time. Total time from the date I applied for the position to my first date for training is about 3 weeks.
