      Entrevista

I heard about the opportunity through a friend at my previous company who knew that I was unhappy and what I was truly looking for in a career. She had seen a post from her friend's linkedIn page and sent me the information asking if I wanted to apply. She wrote a referral email with my resume and references attached, and CC'ed me on it to put me and the hiring manager in touch. After they reviewed my resume and determined I was a strong match, I was asked for an initial meet and greet interview to confirm their friend's recommendations. After meeting requirements, a formal interview with that person and VP was setup to discuss the job at hand and my background. Then I was asked for a third interview that would include the President this time. An offer was made a week later, but it was not at a time they were able to offer what I wanted, and other job responsibilities that I was trying to break free from at my then current job. I had denied, and told them to let me know if another opportunity came along in the future. A few months later they reached out to me again. We discussed the job at hand, and it had evolved into what I was hoping and the opportunity for full time with a desirable salary was ready to be offered. We did a final interview confirming the opportunity and the process into full hire as I was working at a couple different places then. They were extremely flexible, allowing me to finish what I had began elsewhere while coming on board with them. I appreciated them to let me keep my good reputation with previous employers while giving me an opportunity to train and see if I enjoyed this new job before coming on full time a couple months later. Best decision I've ever made.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

From the third round interview, they asked me how i would feel about taking on some responsibilities that required inside sales skills (cold-calling) and it was hard to say no at that point because the rest of the pie sounded pretty good. However, I'm happy I stuck to my guns and explained in the most respectable manner that it was my goal to move away from that type of position and into something more creative. This allowed me to be considered for a new role formed that seemed to fit me perfectly.
