1. HR screening - phone 2. Manager screening - phone 3. Panel interview in person with all three departments of CS & Director I was really excited to interview with this company, but by the 2nd and definitely the 3rd round something about them was odd. I asked some in-indepth questions about work, expectations, and cycle and they answered them fine. Either way it was an interesting experience. I think overall the company gave me positive vibes but I felt something was off. There was almost an air of arrogance with some of the managers. After finishing one particular round a manager just walked away........ didn't excuse himself or say bye and the interview was very standard, nothing out of the ordinary or offensive from either parties. Another manager really enjoyed talking about the team, which was exciting but I didn't really get the chance to say anything. Still, I was happy to listen and chat but I can see this being problematic for some people and in the long run(generally when the interviewer keeps tooting the company, department, or their own horn without giving you a chance to chat, it points to deficiencies). There was some borderline cult like happy go lucky people which is good, I think? But it definitely made me think twice, I generally avoid reading reviews before I interview so I read them afterwards. The funny thing is the few negative points validated the weird vibes I was feeling. The abnormal we-are-so-happy vibe almost made them disingenuous, but given what I read I feel for the person now. Life's hard for a female in the tech world (she was female, read their con employee reviews), I just didn't click. I would not write them off though, especially if you are trying to break into tech. They do have all the cool and hip benefits of a posh tech company. I would recommend interviewing and see if you are a fit.
