Screening- Got a referral from servicenow employee
Round 1
1 single leetcode hard problem similar to Gas Station problem.
Executed working code on Hackerrank platform.
Round 2
Detect and Find loop in linked list.
Indirectly asked to implement Topological sort algo with code.
Some project discussion.
Till here it was smooth and recruiter was also responsive but then starts the worst part I have ever heard from anyone.
Hiring Manager Round- 1
Started with overview on Projects I have done and then some behavioural questions followed by Medium problem which is 394. Decode String
Able to explain the logic and round went fairly okay. Not the best and not the worst.
*Result: Put on hold for almost 3 weeks neither selecting nor rejecting. *
Literally every 3-4 days I had to call and ask for a conclusion.
After 3 weeks they said they will arrange one more HM Round.
Hiring Manager Round- 2
Started with Project discussion and then asked a fairly new question which I am unable to find anywhere in the internet as well. She literally had a document to explain the problem statement with a diagram which she showed by sharing screen only. I had to remember the problem and code. (She again shared and showed me the diagram of result once again in between the interview so that I am not going in wrong direction)
Problem was like to Label the versions as per heirarchical order. (Ignore this its hard to explain as well witout that document she has with the images and description)
I went ahead with assumption of Topological sort would work but with some extra logic of using Graph BFS traversal after finding topo order.
She said she is fine with the logic by the end of Interview call but asked me to share the working code in next 1 hour to the recruiter's email even after the interview
I did the same.
Result: Recruiter said: "You have cleared the round but we are looking for Java Script experience and you are from Java background"
I was like What the hell? My resume shows that I am from Java background. Why did they ask me for this interview.
Put on Hold again LOL.
2 weeks later again called me and said one more HM Round, by that time I was in last week of my notice period and I attended one more round.

Project discussion lots of behavioural questions and Probabilty question
Problem: There is a couple who is looking for a Baby boy and they will keep on trying for a boy if they get a baby girl and only stop when they are blessed with a boy. What is the ratio of boys and girls there?
Solved this as I have already read it somewhere.
Result: Recruiter said: "Cleared, lets discuss the CTC part"
We discussed and he said he will get back with their numbers in 2 days.
No call later from him and I pinged him asking for an update as I only have 1 day left in my NP.
Recruiter Response : HI, MANAGER IS ASKING FOR ONE MORE ROUND AND PANEL ARE NOT AVAILABLE
I had to withdraw my application with them because I understood they would interview for my Lifetime for fun.
Now whoever read this please tell me after 1.5 months of process, after these many rounds, and after discussing the CTC part, who would expect this from an organisation with such a reputation does this way?
Extremely disappointed. Waste of enormous Time and Energy.
I really wish whoever involved in this process would face the same in some point of their career and get reminded of this
Heard that they are holding multiple candidates in pipeline for a single position so that atleast one of them joins and they are benefitted by putting other candidates careers in Dilemma.
