The first interview with People was as expected except for the fact that the interviewer did not allow me to make any question. The second, technical interview lasted more than one hour and I was asked some questions not related with the position, neither the technological tools or the tasks described in the job.

First interview is with the recruiter. Surprisingly I was only asked technical question for some reason. The recruiter did not even understand what they were asking. They just had a list of questions and answers in front of them and blindly asked questions that they couldn't comprehend. Even though I answered all the technical questions correctly (they were easy questions) and even though the recruiter told me I did great, I got an email one week later telling me that they decided to proceed with someone with more experience. They did not even bother to do the actual technical interview or to send me the test, which is VERY strange, because I am damn good at what I do and I am very confident I would have done great at their test. I assume that they also proceeded with technical questions during the introductory interview, is because they did not want me to prepare, so that it would be easier to "discard" me. But maybe I am wrong about this last part. However, 1 month later, the job posting is still open and it is actively being promoted on job advertisement sites. The interesting thing to note, is that the job posting is written in Russian in a lot of sites. The manager and head of department are both Russian. Potential team members (in the same department/team) located in NON-Russian countries were ALSO Russian. The recruiter that interviewed me was also Russian. I see so many comments also saying that this is a Russian company. The only logical explanation is that this company is not an equal opportunity employer like they advertise and they only want to hire Russians. They could have spared me my time and not waste it since their goal is to find only Russians. This is not the only company that does it. I hope some day this discrimination/racism will be over, especially in my own country.
