      Entrevista

      The position is for what most people know as a Customer Service Rep - answering phones and helping clients. It's entry level, 38K, but you have to a good amount of experience and already understand the tools they use - but there is also a training process if you get the job. You can have digital marketing experience but if you don't use their tools, it doesn't really count. But if you are fresh out of college, it's more a blank slate and they can work with that. You talk with a recruiter first and then you interview with 3 people on Google Hangout. They ask standard questions and a few curveballs such as "explain something you know really well that others don't." The Google Hangout interview was over 45min. College Degree, current digital marketing certifications, and 3 years of digital marketing experience was not enough for this entry level role. They are looking for candidates that have prior digital marketing experience using their product. After reviewing candidates that hold the position of Customer Success Specialists, most are out of college. They seem to recruit everyone from Temple because they have programs that use SEMrush - so it's less about real world experience and more about the new and shiny degree.

We had a robust response to our job posting and a highly competitive pool of candidates interested in the opportunity. We consider a variety of factors when hiring for the Customer Success team and have to make tough decisions between candidates who all fit multiple qualifications, such as, having multiple digital marketing internships or work experience, holding multiple certifications related to analytics or digital marketing, experience using digital marketing tools, including ours, and having advanced degrees in digital marketing, to name a few. We notify all of our candidates about our expectations and try to provide updates and feedback on the current status of open vacancies in a timely manner. We are always open for discussion.
