Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Seamless (New York, NY) en mar 2022
Entrevista
I interviewed with seamless.ai in March of 2022. The good: the telephone screening to the first round interview was a quick process. I spoke with a sourcer on the phone and pushed me along to an interview with recruiter. The recruiter was out sick so I spoke to the VP of recruiting. The call started fine and was informative though I was asked about the SDR role when I hadn't applied to that role. Overall easy get to know you questions and explaining your resume.
The bad: After the initial interview I sent a thank you email and waited about a week and a half before sending a follow up email requesting candidacy status. It's now the end of March and I have been effectively ghosted all the while their CEO is posting about how seamless is hiring over 500 roles and people are being hired left and right. Better have a side hustle because the company is built on grind/hustle culture and its a telling sign that they'll expect you to essientially work to death or over 40 hours so you can meet ypur quotas. It is extremely unprofessional in my view to ghost a candidate. An auto reject email is better than just sitting around waiting for a response especially given how much "growth" the company promotes. It shouldn't take two weeks to decide if someone is moving on to a secondary interview. If I magically get a response back I'm declining their offer but truly I doubt they'll give me the time of day.
Pay attention to the reviews on here as most of them are current employees who were asked to give a positive review. Stay away from seamless.ai unless you want to be ghosted, overworked and exploited in the name of "company culture" and your time to be disrespected. I get no recruiter wants to be the bearer of bad news but I can tell you ghosting someone puts an even worse taste in a candidates mouth and they'll warn people to stay away. Be sure to ask about turnover at seamless I bet it's high.
