Internship at Scotiabank is the best thing that you can think of. There is a program called velocity which handles all the internships at Scotiabank and Tangerine.
The process to get a internship here is to score good on the plum profile. They give importance to ownership and leadership goals. Once you get selected in the first round with the plum profile. There will be a coffee chat with the hr. After which they'll arrange interviews for you. You could get a chance to give multiple interviews to different roles if you fail, just don't be picky with what you want. Keep an open mind and explore.

Common questions asked were based on my projects and experience.
They will also ask simple questions related to the role.
They didn’t want resumes! Instead, you were to use your plum profile, which was an exercise in self loathing. Took me 4 hours to complete the profile. No freaking idea what the advantage is in doing that. Never doing another plum profile again.
2 rounds, one 1 hour technical questions, asking machine learning problem, NLP and LLM problems, and 1 leetcode medium. Many questions are based on resumes. Second round is with manager, mostly talking about high level strategy and random chat
