I was approached on LinkedIn from someone who connected to "have a chat". Our background was similar and the message was very informal. I agree to a chat about the role. I prepared and dressed for a very formal meeting even though it was just a chat with 1 person. When I got to the location, there were nomless than 7 people: BP of this, Director of that, HT representative.... I felt ambushed and honestly a little put off. I was asked no ends of technical questions that I would not be able to answer unless I has been in this role and this area in this country all my life. Despite me telling them that I understand the general terms but was not familiar with the specific regulations and treatments, they prodded. I had to put an end to it and left feeling completely and utterly ambushed and raided of my confidence.
