A few days after applying for the position I was called on a Sunday afternoon (not an issue to me but have never seen it before) by a Scheels' HR employee for an interview.
The first interview was with only a HR manager for the location that the position was. The interview had most basic question of why I chose this position, Scheels, this location, etc. It also had some of the "HR-style" questions that I had already answered during the online application.
Two days after the first interview, I was called by the same HR employee that called me the first time, to schedule a second interview. I had a few issues with never getting an invitation for this second interview, but after calling and emailing a few times, I was finally able to reach out that employee and he sent me everything that I needed.
The second interview was with a new HR employee and the Marketing Manager for that position. The meeting was very similar to the first one, even repeating some of the questions, but specifying a little more in the Marketing side of the position on other questions.
I was not offered a position, even though leaving with a good feeling about both interviews. I would say that they were not hard or intimidating and all of the employees that I talked to were friendly and polite.
