I was reached out to by who would have been my boss’s boss on linkedIn for an interview. I , first, had a phone interview with a recruiter. It went well. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. However, I was scheduled for an interview by the recruiter’s assistant without telling me first. However, the hiring manager was happy to rearrange the phone interview. That also went well. I was then asked to meet the team and a couple of managers for an in-person interview at the office in Plano. Since different people joined the interview every 30 minutes, I felt like I was answering the same couple of questions and the interview never progressed very far. I also could not showcase the work I have done in my current job due to privacy reason. What I could show, I couldn’t access, because I think you have to request access to the guest internet before your interview. The interview still seemed to go well. Although the team I interviewed confirmed the lack of a work/life balance and the “crazy turnaround times for training materials”. The company was also described as militaristic at times. The recruiter sent me a NDA to sign before the interview, but it timed out and was cancelled while I was on vacation. Although I asked for new documents, I was not given them, and was allowed to have the interview without signing them NDA. A week after the interview, I asked the recruiter if there was a timeline to here back on a decision, and I never received a response. Being ghosted but he company speaks volumes to how the company really treats people, like robots and not real people.
