4 interviews before offer. They were very professional and they always made it a point to check on references. You must pass a drug screen before the interview. The women are very strong willed and do not play when you refer to women as "girls." DO NOT TAKE THE JOB, your home life will be over. One vacation in 3 years...

Simple interview done in the store, while given a tour of the entirety of the store and told the whole work process. Everyone was very kind and it was informative

Safeway uses the STAR system for behavioral interviews. You are taken to a conference room where there are typically two Directors (or Managers, depending on the position being interviewed for) and an HR person who take turns asking several questions that are behavioral based. They need to keep to the questions and there is little interaction outside of the questions and they all take notes on the responses and grade the interview afterwards. You do not meet any peers to ask questions and you do not see the area you would be working. Very sterile environment that is intimidating.

Entrevista
First was a sreening interview over the phone, the a more formal phone interview with HR. After that I went in for a series of computer assesments, one was math, one was verbal, one was situational, and one was personality. then and in-person panel interview with a District Manager, a Director of HR, a Director of Training, a Director of Operations, and finally an in-person interview with the Vice President of Operations in which an offer was made on the spot.
