After completing my first round interview the week prior, I came in for a second round interview expecting to be shown how the business operates and to meet some of the people that I'd be working with... Instead, I was taken to a metro station where I was lectured on the "irrelevance" of indirect marketing, as well as how direct marketing is far more effective and measurable. Then, I was asked to stand by a wall and answer about ten questions in a notebook as my interviewer and her colleagues stopped commuters in order to ask them to donate to a non-profit group. Direct marketing, you say? This company is a scam to recruit interns to bother people in the metro station, not a marketing firm working with Fortune 500 clients. I am also certain that this organization goes by multiple aliases in order to increase its number of recruits. The other day, I applied to a company called "Haywire Inc." on LinkedIn, only to later find out that the interview would take place in the same office as the first round interview I had with Stag. I also visited both company websites and found them to be strikingly similar-- same format, same writing style. Don't waste your time taking a trip to Manhattan for this.

over 2 days. second day interview is quite intense being a full day but gives a good insight into the company and means there is nothing hidden. Great chance to learn more about the company and the team. They interview a lot of people which can be daunting but this is to find the right candidates to keep up with the fast paced environment as it isn't for everyone.
