Applied through an agency for a contract position. I went in, did the interview and was told I'd hear back after the other 3 candidates were interviewed as well. It was a technical grilling being conducted by 2 contractors. 2 days later I got a call to say I wasn't selected. They said I was fairly qualified but not 100% suitable. Agency let me down as I thought it was a general infrastructure role, what they needed to tell me was that it was working with a specific technology (wsus). Interview was approximately 1hr 10 mins and only 5 mins were non-technical (summary of my history/experience) questions.
