Applied online . Recruiter emailed me the next day to set up a 15 minute phone interview. Phone interview went well and was told someone would contact me by tomorrow to set up an interview at the corporate office. Called within 10 minutes. I agreed to an interview the next possible business day and received a confirmation email. Had 3 interviews within a 3 hour span all went well I believed. I have DOT compliance experience from insurance sales to trucking companies. I have a degree and work experience. Answered all the questions politely and as best I could. Asked questions when it was my turn. Told me they'd be in touch within a week to 2 weeks. Sent thank you emails. Thought great things about the company. No call or email after a week. Racking my brain over it I called the 2 recruiters I initially spoke with to inquire about the status of my application in a polite manner. I emailed one left a phone message for the other. Received an email saying they were still interviewing other candidates and that Id know within a few days what they decided. 30 minutes later I received an email from the other HR recruiter saying they choose someone else for the position . No clue why I got 2 different answers . I guess I shouldn't have called and that calling to politely know the status of my application some how disqualified me from the process. Or it was coincidence that the same day I called they decided on someone else. Felt like a waste of time and they had others in mind for the job without the experience I had.
