I was approached by a recruiter around a month after my application for a role.
First stage of the interview process was a phone interview that lasted around half an hour with the recruiter.
One of the main things they wanted to know is how much money was I making in my current position. I avoided to answer and asked back about their budget for the role which they claimed they couldn't reveal. Another question was why I want to join the company and why I want this role, so pretty standard.
Second stage was an hour interview (30min. competency based questions with head of department and HR and 30min. questions about the role with line and direct manager) . I also had to fill out a renumeration excel form, where they asked exactly how much money I was making in my current role and all benefits I have ( all these at the beginning of the hiring process, without them to revealing their budget for the role).
Third stage was to present a case study/task for an hour. They gave me only a few days to present a case study which they hadn't explained well on the instructios. They asked for something rather generic to present that requires a lot of time and effort from the candidate and give no clarifications of what is that they prefer you should focus on.
After the presentation they didn't make an offer to me because they claimed I don't have the experience they ask for this position.
I believe the experience and qualifications is something that is discussed at the second stage of the interview , and it does not make sense to put the candidate in position of presenting a rather complicated and not clear case study/ task .
So overall not a good experience , I expected them to be more clear and professional on what they ask and on the whole hiring process.

Phone interview with someone in human resources. It was fairly simple but the interviewer seemed distracted and he was a bit rude and uninterested. I actually never received an email or call to inform me that I didn't get tge position. Guess he was too busy for that too.
