TA call + F2F hiring manager interview. I have an issue with the latter. This was after a previous offer they had provided was declined, and now I know the HM was never interested in my candidacy. However, if that's the case, why would the interview go on for 90 minutes? Isn't it a waste of your time to be talking with someone you have no intention of working with for such a long time? Or isn't it more the actual case where you actually have no 'fwends' in the workplace, having just joined and not being a pet owner, or real, actual work that you just need to kill time THAT badly on a Friday afternoon? He was talking way more passionately about a previous pizza role than pet food.
