I made it to the 2nd round of interviews with Rotary, but was not moved past the 2nd round. A couple of weeks after my 2nd round interview, the recruiter reached out for a followup call and I thought there was a chance I was moving on -- even though the 2nd interview didn't feel super positive. Instead she was letting me know *personally* that they were not moving forward. While it was not great news (nor unexpected news) it was an exceptionally bright spot in my day that someone reached out in person to let me know my status, rather than getting the typical "while your experience is impressive..." form email.
