I showed up 10 minutes early as you should for any interview. Gave my name, who I was interviewing with, and was shown to the waiting area. I continued to sit and wait for 40 minutes past my appointment start time, I was finally getting ready to just leave when the manager came out to talk. During the interview the manager was NOT prepared, he did not have questions prepped, did not have paperwork or job description or even a copy of my resume or application (I gave one to him), we were continuously interrupted, he answered emails during my answers to his questions, he told me the "non-commission" position was actually commission, insulted current in house customers to one of his employees as I was sitting there and so on. From the moment I walked in everything screamed unprofessional. I was offered the position however, when I turned it down they asked why, I gave them the reasons, thanked them for the opportunity and hung up. For WEEKS I continued to receive emails requesting my background check to be completed, requested information for my start up packet and then a month after the interview I received an email stating my orientation was to start that Monday..... Really? I ended up having to block them to get the emails to stop.
