I first had a phone screening with a recruiter from Robert Half who asked about my experience with general accounting tasks like invoicing, data entry, reconciliations, and using software such as QuickBooks or Excel.

Initial call with recruiter that went over basic background information and experience. Recruiter then quickly set up an interview with the company I would be working for. That interview was an onsite with the accounting manager and cpa involving more background/behavioral questions
