1st Phase of interview process was phone interview. It involved the tell me a little about yourself question, questions about previous job experiences, 1-2 behavioral questions like tell me about a time when you had a challenging situation and how did you handle it. 2nd Phase Day in the trade with a current RJRT Territory Manager. Went to a few retail outlets. I asked questions about his daily routines, tasks, duties and responsibilities. If you do not show a real interest in the position or if you do not ask a look of questions, your chances of making it to the third phase of the interview process is slim (especially if you have a day in the trade with a seasoned territory manager). 3rd and Final Phase-Panel Interviews. You are flown in to an regional area that they are recruiting for and usually interview in a nearby airport hotel. You are briefed before you go in about the process.Once you get past the general questions about your background and job experiences it is all behavioral questions after that. The 1st panel as they call it or interview session (45mins-60mins) is in front of 2 individuals most likely a division manager and/or regional manager. Once you finish the 1st panel session you are sent into 2nd panel session (30mins-45mins) in front of 2 RJRT Representatives either a division manager and or an account manager that is up for promotion to a higher level position who may be trying to get experience in the selection and placement process. A few getting to know you questions but mainly more scripted behavioral questions. They want to see how you react to real life situations from the examples that you give. If you give a S.T.A.R. example you should be able to justify your reasoning in making your decision. They are trying to get a better idea of you decision making ability and how you will respond to difficult situations in the marketplace.

It was a smooth and comfortable experience and I felt at home and cared about. They ask good questions to get to know the candidates. To some candidates, it might seem like they asked tough questions, but they just wanna make sure that they will find good career driven people that want a long-term career instead of just a job with a paycheck.
