Overall the interview process was very smooth and there was a sense of urgency which was nice. I’ve done all 5 interviews in the process, however when it came to the outcome I followed back around 10 days later the talent manager said they’ll respond to me in the next next week but then went on to ghost me for another almost 2 weeks with no response which I found quite strange. Especially since I had other roles in the pipeline and would’ve loved to know what’s happening as I was quite excited about the role.

I applied to Remitly on July the 30th for a senior position based in London, and immediately got a reply the next day with an assessment. I finished the assessment on the same day and sent it back. 1 week after that, I got an email back saying an interview was scheduled to the 14th. 2 hours before the supposed interview time, I got an email saying that the interview would be delayed 1 hour. I said sure, no problem, and kept on waiting. 1 hour before the newly scheduled time, I got another email saying the interview was rescheduled for the following day. I suggested a time, and was then completely ghosted by the company. Literally 1 month after that, I get an email by another recruiter within Remitly saying that they are interested in my application, and it's followed up by the scheduling of an interview. At this rate, I already thought this company's recruiting team is in shambles, but didn't think much of it and agreed. Well, a few hours before that interview, they send me an email rescheduling it. I answer that email and suggest a new time, and get properly ghosted again. It sounds like it's a mess over there. If things are like this in the recruiting process, think of what a madhouse actually working there must be. Interviews are a two way street. Is Remitly passing the interview? The answer is no.
