Entrevista
4 rounds: screener, virtual recorded behavioral, virtual technical, and on-site. Discussed pay, start date, etc... between the technical and on-site. Was given a tour of the facility during the on-site. I was contacted a few days later and informed that I had been rejected in favor of another candidate due to a skill issue. No skill was really assessed during the final round. I wonder if they decided to just grow the off-shore team some more. Bizarre and time consuming experience. Something seems off here...

Technical interviewer based abroad asked me: Were you born and raised in the United States?
Interviewed for a DS role at the company. Got to the final round (4th) and didn't get the job - the feedback for why I didn't get the job was actually from the 2nd round feedback. So what I don't understand is why I didn't get the feedback after 2nd round rather than wasting time going to further rounds? This was also after reference checks, discussing potential start dates etc so quite strange. Bit of a waste of time tbh.
