Recruiter contacted me with a generic email. I asked for a job description, which I received, and salary range, which I did not receive. I was not interested in the position, however, the recruiter submitted my resume to their client *without* my permission. The client contacted me to set up interviews/assessment, and I had to explain the situation. This is extremely unprofessional. It puts me in an awkward position and fraudulently misrepresents the staffing and/or recruiter as being able to provide qualified candidates.
