Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Red Hat (Boston, MA) en nov 2016
Entrevista
This job was through an employee referral where you apply at a completely separate website for. The HR person contacted me within a week of applying for the job. It was a short 30 minute conversation to make sure the candidate matched the high level expectations for the job. After that, you do a Hackerrank online technical assessment. The technical material varies depending on the job function or technology you're applying for. After that, the HR person reaches out to you again for a meeting with the hiring manager and his team. Generally a 4 hour onsite interview process. If you're in the northeast, they'll most likley send you to NYC. After that, I didn't hear anything back from the company. My reference there had mentioned that in a year end 2016 meeting. the company mentioned they over hired by 1000 or so employees, so they were halting any new on boarding.

Are you ok to travel 75% to customer sites Monday through Thursday from week to week?
Very methodic approach, great interview panel and calibration process, consistent communication by the HR team, and thoughtful interview questions, great blend of situational questions and passion/personality questions - entire process took about 2 months.

Exactly as outlined in RedHat's hiring website. The recruiter was very knowledgeable of the process. Initial interview was with Technical resource. Final interview was with hiring manager and technical colleague.
Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Red Hat (Londres, Inglaterra) en mar 2023

The interview process was an initial screening call with a recruiter, which is 30mins, then a technical interview with a senior team member, which goes on for a 1hr, then a panel interview with the consulting team leaders, which goes out for and 1hr 20mins.
I got an email about three days after they moved me from a Senior Consultant to a Consultant. Unfortunately, they wouldn't entertain the original benefits we discussed during the screening call. It wasn't very reassuring for a big company such as Red Hat, so I declined the offer and moved on with my day.
