      Entrevista

I had an initial phone interview, which followed some basic question specific to the job title. I then had a skype interview with the CEO and 2 other people just discussing my resume and why I wanted to change jobs. I want to describe how negative the offer process was after the initial interview. They posted a salary range on a job board, and then came $20,000 below the salary range posted and hourly on top of that. They stated they saw me doing better at a different position so, they could pay me less. Then they stated I didn't have enough experience to be on salary and was certain "I could be at the salary I wanted after 6 months." That also was not stated in the offer letter, as well as where I would be working from a location stand point. After I had countered, asking if it was a mistake I would be hourly, the CEO then came back stating the FLSA laws were in tack in Dallas, TX and that I am not on salary at my current job (Which I am) I then declined the offer and wished them luck in their search. She then (The CEO) came back and said I was completely wrong about the laws that were not passed here in Texas in a very rude manner. I highly suggest you do not deal with this company, it was a horrible offer experience and will never recommend dealing with a CEO who thinks it is ok to undermine a potential employee. This was all because I wanted to make what the job was posted at, salary wise. Overall terrible experience.

      Pregunta 1

Asked a question that would go against my confidentiality clause at my previous job by trying to get me to present proprietary information about my current company, and then used it against me when I was trying to get to the next steps of the hiring process.

We appreciated your interest in joining our team and the time you have invested in exploring opportunities with us. While we had some initial concerns about your qualifications for the position you applied for, please know that our intention was always to find a role that would be a better fit for your 18-months of work experience and career goals. We believe in helping our employees grow and develop their skills, and we saw great potential in you that we wanted to nurture. We understand that the role we suggested may not have been what you were expecting, but we want to assure you that we had your best interest in mind. We believe that this opportunity could have provided you with valuable experience and help you further your career. As we said at the time, your current employer's practices regarding employee wage was wrong and predatory. In fact, I read that they agreed to pay a $6.75 million dollar lawsuit to resolve claims it failed to pay its employees all the wages they were entitled to. We hope you have a successful career.
