I had my first conversation with the HR and discussed my salary expectations plus remote working CLEARLY. He said he will discuss the same with the Management first and then get back to me. He got back after a day's time and was like we're okay with your expectations. After 2 rounds of interviews in 2 weeks, where the CEO of the company without even informing me din't even show up for the interview and after me following up twice via call as well as via email, they informed me that the CEO has some other last moment engagement, which I absolutely understand that it can happen but not letting the candidate know is something I din't appreciate. Now, after both the 1 hour interview rounds and clearing them, the HR reaches out to me and says, my feedback is positive but the salary that they can offer is 12.5L Fixed which was not even a 10% hike on my current salary plus way below what I had mentioned in the screening round with the HR. After everything, they offered me 10 L fixed below my expectations. This was my first interview since I wasn't actively looking for a change, so I gave this company the first priority before interviewing any other companies but they din't just waste mine and their time but also showed extreme unprofessionalism as well as disrespect towards someone's time and effort. Extremely Disappointed with the companies which portray something and are negatively something else. Do not consider interviewing with this company. Also, I din't find the attitude of the CEO great as such. I felt like I am talking to an extremely strict Principal of a School while interviewing with him. After tons of interviews over the past 5 years, this was my Worst experience.
