The Interview was not complicated. It started with a phone screen as Step 1 which lead to a Code activity as Step 2. The step 3 was an interview with the team where they went over the code and discussed about possible areas for improvement. The team was nice. The negative experience was that the hiring team didn't want to give a definite ans until the last min. I was told about being considered and then a no comes after a week at the very last min. I didn't find this behavior very professional. A hint of your chances would be nice and allows the individual to plan and move ahead. They could have been transparent about the progress since candidates put in weekends trying to solve their coding activity.

The interview was easy but the team wasn't very professional. After positive feedback from the technical team, I was told that they merged the Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer positions and decided to hire the candidate who applied for Senior Data Engineer.
