I was not contacted at the agreed upon time and had to reach out to reschedule. I didn't receive an apology for this and was even greeted with attitude when I emailed. When I did talk to HR it was a pleasant conversation with a passionate recruiter. The next step in the process, before talking to the actual hiring manager was an assessment. It was never presented to me as a hard skills test and so I felt completely wrong-footed when the timed test landed in my email inbox. The test looked at budgeting, paid ad performance and copy writing. Overall I really wish that my time had been treated with respect and that the communication from the recruitment team was much clearer.
