My interview was at 1, but the CEO was busy and didn't meet with me until 1:40. That was the first bad sign. Everyone working there seemed extremely stressed and unhappy.
When I finally did get a chance to interview, it was more like a lecture on data and the CEOs approach to utilizing it. He asked me only a couple of questions, and never really listened to my answers, only proceeded to loop the question back to his lecture.
Then, he proceeded to take me on a tour of his rug store, which he then proceeded to tell me that I would have to work in so that I could learn the product. It was at that point I knew this place was not the marketing/project management role I had been lead to believe it was.
I was presented with an offer the end of that week, but I did decline. IF you are looking for a digital marketing position, don't get looped into this. If you are okay working in a rug store and writing a few social posts occasionally, then this is the position for you.

So I initially went in for a position as a E-commerce Manager because I have had my own business and know what it takes to be successful dealing with an E-commerce.
My interview started with the Marketing Manager who was very pleasant and thought I would be a great fit for the team. After the Marketing Manager, I met with the Vice President of Sales my interview was going great. The VP of Sales said he could really see me working at RM Innovation and that with my skillset and experience I would be a great asset to the team.
The third person that spoke with me was the Founder of RM Innovation his name is David. He first asked me why am I here? why do you want the job? Why am I studying? I explained to him why and he disrespected me by saying my education was stupid. I really doubt he has an MBA or even a Masters. Then went on a long lecture how I didn’t know anything and that product data was the key to success. While he was explaining about product data he asked me a couple of questions to see if I was listening.
After his long lecture about product data, he explained to me that his rug company is a billion dollar rug company of the same level as Google. As I was listening he threw down my resume again and said you moved here from a different state and now you're trying to work for me? You can’t stick to anything!!! I explained to him I relocated and looking to work with something I know I can be successful in doing.
To conclude, he is FAR from Google. If you look at his rug website the landing page is very outdated. The price he is trying to sell his rugs are a rip off you can get them cheaper at the flea market. He acts like he has this winning product where he says he wants to help other businesses. However, he basically just wants you to join his pyramid scam and help promote his rug company. On indeed and Simply hired the position is listed for $45,000 - 60,000 however that is a LIE. You start at $30,000 and if he feels you deserve more than he said you will go to $32,000.
