      Entrevista de Associate Support Consultant

      14 nov 2025
      Candidato de entrevista anónimo
      Sin oferta
      Experiencia negativa
      Entrevista difícil

      Solicitud

Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en RLDatix en oct 2025

      Entrevista

I have interviewed with RLDatix twice now and both experiences have been negative. After my first interview for a different role, the same recruiter told me she would contact me about roles suitable for me, but she never did. I was the one who later found the Associate Support Consultant role and contacted her about my application. That already says a lot about how little follow up there actually is from their side. Before this second interview she told me she would support me with the process, but she never mentioned that there would be a technical task. I only found out about that during the interview itself. After the interview she wrote, “I must first sincerely apologize… we’ve had an unusually busy period,” and blamed a summit and sickness for the long delay in getting back to me. The wait for the interview outcome was long and even knowing about my previous bad experience with them, nobody senior ever contacted me or took responsibility. As an unemployed graduate I still prepared carefully and tried to be understanding about one of the interviewers being unwell. In her feedback she said the managers were “particularly impressed by your confidence and genuinely warm personality” and that my answers were “very insightful and good,” but then added that I talked too much and went off track. Many workplaces do not seem to understand that some job titles and companies have unusual structures, and because my previous role was a consultant position with no direct client of my own, I needed to fully explain what I actually did and what I gained. There was almost no real discussion in the interview, more me talking for around thirty minutes with very little response, which naturally made me more stressed and more likely to over explain. After the interview I spoke to several senior managers in the IT and development field and they felt the feedback I received was unprofessional and ridiculous and even made it seem as if I had only been used as a placeholder to meet a hiring agenda rather than treated as a serious candidate. The recruiter also mentioned two possible team names very quickly and I only managed to clarify what they were after the interview. When I followed up to ask, she first did not understand me and then responded in a passive aggressive way that made me feel as though I was wrong for even asking. In the end I was told, “We made a tough decision between 3 potentials… and have decided to offer the role to another candidate,” along with the usual line about wanting to keep me in mind for future roles. If someone actually senior wants to contact me about how this was handled they are welcome to. I would prefer a genuine response rather than the kind of standard replies on Glassdoor where everything said is refuted by this company. With this review I think it is important to inform other applicants to stay away and AVOID this company. Experiences like this are exactly why the job market feels so discouraging for graduates.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

They gave me a written technical task. I had to write a short email to a user who could not access a business-critical application and was seeing “Error 403 Forbidden – you do not have permission to access this resource,” including any clarification questions and next steps. I then had to prioritise four Service Desk tickets (a payroll system not calculating pay correctly, a staff rota issue leaving wards short staffed, a director requesting a report and a routine database copy) by priority and order of work, explaining my reasoning.
