I did up to 3 rounds of interview including a face to face in their office in downtown. I think that this a waste of one's time especially if you are not gonna hire the person. Why subject someone to 3 rounds of interview for a contract role when it is clear that you may already have your candidates in mind?
Phone interview with HR rep who mentioned they are looking to hire right away. Set up the interview a week after with a 3 person panel. Two Sr. Scrum masters and an agile coach. The day of the interview, only two people showed up for the Panel interview. The question were open ended and a little too subjective as to what they are looking for and seems like the interview was cut short as if the questions weren't answered to their specific requirements.
