Engineer Manager was a newly hired one, She wanted text book solution without any help. The interview went really good but was rejected based on that I did not cover monitoring and analytics for an LLD round. She never asked me to cover those topics or even point me in that direction. HR herself told that she got similar feedback about her from other candidates as well.

The interview process at Quince is straight forward. Round 1 :: Problem Solving and Data Structures (60 Mins) Round 2 :: Low Level Design Round 3 :: Hiring Manager Interview (System Design + Culture Fitment) The first round went well and the interviewer was supportive. In the 2nd round the interviewer came up with some random question and was not able to form the question properly. He was not clear with what the requirement was, although in the end he got what he was looking for. But post that the company vanished and even after multiple followup's I could not get a response for more than 10 days and finally when I could catch with the HR, she mentioned that I was not selected. Okay that's quite fair, but luckily I asked her for detailed feedback, so she mentioned she will get back and she called back and mentioned me that the solution that I had provided for the Redbus system design was not upto the mark and I was completely shocked, these guys are rejecting without even remembering what was the question that was asked to me. I mentioned this to HR and she told she cannot do anything since the position is closed. The Recruitment team do not care about the candidates time and experience, they are just looking to waste your time. I also got to know from my friends working here that most of the candidates hired here are friends/relatives/known of the managers.
