I submitted my resume and cover letter online. A recruiter reviewed my application and, after determining I met the basic qualifications, scheduled a phone interview. During the call, I talked about my background and why I was interested in the role. Next, I completed a skills test relevant to the position. Once I passed that, I had a first-round interview with the hiring manager. We discussed my experience in detail and went over my technical skills. Then, I had a second-round interview with some of the team members. This round included more technical questions and gave me a chance to see how I would fit with the team. Finally, I had a conversation with senior leadership to discuss my long-term potential and alignment with the company’s values. After that, they contacted my previous employers for references. Everything checked out, and I received a job offer. I reviewed the offer, negotiated a bit, and then accepted it. Finally, I went through the onboarding process to get started with the company.
