      Entrevista

      Applied online, initially sent an e-mail inviting me to a recruitment day which I had to follow a link to register for, however I followed the link immediately and the system said there were no spaces left. A few weeks later I got the same e-mail again and was able to register. Turned up to the recruitment day at the Knowseley site, induction staff were very disorganised and started nearly 30mins late, mean while the group of us on the recruitment day were cramped into a tiny waiting room/corridor getting in everyone's way. We were introduced to the speakers and given a series of short talks about how amazing QVC are and how much tat they sell a day etc. We then took a computer competency task and then listening to a call to pick out pro's con's and improvements. After this we discussed in small groups what we thought of the calls etc whilst being monitored by a member of their team. Finally, we were interviewed one to one. Just standard questions, eg brand awareness, customer service skills. At the end of the session we were assured they would let us know either way within 72hrs. Low and behold no word from them within this time. Approx 2 months later I received an e-mail saying I had been successful and that I should contact them to arrange a start date, I contacted them by phone and e-mail and they failed to respond at all. Another few months later I received an e-mail saying I had not been successful however they would like to keep my record. Ironically during the recruitment day they repeated stated how well they treated staff, how welcoming and helpful the team were, how they were a top employer and an amazing place to work. However this could not be further from the reality, my experience of the company and their pseudo-community schpiel. I would recommend you not even waste your time going to one of their 3-4hr long recruitment days as it is a shambles and they pay only lip service to their company ideals.

      The process was watching an animated scene, then rating each potential answer. I thought it was basic and made sense. However I believe they want to see you choose several answers as being acceptable responses, not just one.

      I applied online and had to set up and interview. It was on Microsoft Teams. It was the basic Star method. The interview questions consisted of knowing how to troubleshoot and basic customer service related questions. Overall, I had a bad experience.

      It was a basic interview process. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just sell yourself and you should be fine at the very least. Don’t think I would apply ever again though
