I was referred by a manager at another store. I got a call after about a week or so to do an interview at the store with the manager and assistant manager of my prospective department. The interview seemed to just be a social competency check and to see if I could hold a conversation. There was also a quick drug test.
Filled out application on line…was asked a few days later to come into store 3 management people there in interview…just average questions…I told them positive things I liked about the company…let them know I lived within 2 miles of store…and was eager to work any shift.

Would I like to work in the cheese and meat section of the store
Interview with Department manager normally in person, takes about 30 mins. Easy enough process. Normally you do a quick phone interview or online form before receiving the interview. Took me about 2 days to hear back on a decision.
