I completed an application at the kiosk inside the store. Got a call 3 days later for an interview. Met with the AM, answered easy questions, such as '' why do you want to work at Publix. '' afterward, got called back to talk to the manager. Again, easy questions. I thought both interviews went well and being a new retiree, thought I was going to get an offer. After being g told I would hear something in 3 days, no call came. I never heard back from them. I was very disappointed. The least they could have done was drop me an email.

I was contacted within a few days to schedule an interview, and the in-person conversation felt friendly and straightforward. The interviewer made me feel comfortable, asked thoughtful questions, and gave me a clear overview of the role. Overall, it was an easy, smooth experience that left a great impression of the company.

I went through the interview process as a senior in high school looking for their first job. I felt like the interviewer understood that & tailored with the questions to fit my entry-level status. They were very cordial & provided a comfortable interview environment. However, there was a bit of a waiting period between submitting the application & getting a call-back to schedule the interview.
