I had met a very friendly and helpful HR Representative at a mock interview and when the position opened up, she suggested I apply. Soon after, I was asked to come in, where I interviewed with the hiring manager who, though courteous, made it clear that the demands were high in the position and there would be very little hand holding. He also lamented the fact that his hires tended to find positions elsewhere in the company pretty regularly.
