I had a call scheduled with the recruiter of the role, which went really well, or so I thought. Conversation lasted about 30 minutes and the recruiter seemed to like me. After the usual chat about the role and myself, I was given a run down of the hiring process, which to me seemed like a good sign. After, I never heard from them again. No follow up about my application status or anything. Just ghosted. I understand that people can be overwhelmed with work but it came off as really unprofessional as I had dedicated some time to prepare for this call. Disappointing to say the least.

I had a initial interview after which was implyed that I will probably be called on the second round. After that - I never heard from them again. Ghosted. So given my experience - recruiters are only fulfilling their targets regarding executed interviews. If it is not so, they would at lest be professional enough to send automatic reply of some kind. And I can see here that this is repetitive behaviour.
